A Beautiful Mom to Be

I get many emails asking if I shoot maternity sessions. That answer is yes!  I photograph all types of moms to be.  There are ALL kinds of pregnant mamas. Some, like to focus on maternity sessions revolving around family. Jeans, tank tops, and natural interactive moments. Some love to have their belly photographed at sunset. Making their images more like art. Some like to remain feeling sexy, embracing their growing belly. Not every type of maternity session is right for every mama.

This beautiful mom to be, who also happens to be a photographer, is the latter of those talked about above. Knowing she is rarely in front of the camera, this session was about her.  Heck. If I looked like this… I would have done the same thing 🙂

I wanted to share some images from her session, as lots of mamas who do more “sexy” types of maternity sessions are kept private. This shoot was so beautiful, she was more than happy to let me share! I don’t blame her! 🙂

The majority of these gowns I have in the studio as part of the studio wardrobe. However, many clients like to bring a few things as well.  If you are thinking about a maternity shoot, I like to photograph bellies around 30-35 weeks.  Most of my maternity clients are newborn clients, and grab the belly session at a discount.
