Dogs and newborns
does not get much cuter than that… 🙂
Are you ready to see a for real beautiful baby? This peanut is a doll and I loved every minute I got to spend with her. Mom had booked me for a posed session with a lifestyle add on. I am so glad she did, as sometimes new babies are not having it while at the studio. We were having a hard time as she was just not getting full and had a hard time getting sleepy. Come to find out she had a bit of a tongue tie (totally common, Zachary had one) and is doing fabulous now. But at the time of the session she was ready to party! 🙂 So the majority of our shoot we spent taking some loose awake shots, but did manage to grab a few posed shots super quickly when she let us 🙂 This happens more often than people would think. Even the sleepiest babies wake up. Newborns are not a fan of being naked. Even though the studio is kept at a balmy 85 degrees, they just would prefer to be swaddled up and snuggled. Can’t blame them!
So when we ended our studio session, I told mom we would spend extra time at her lifestyle session to make sure we got a ton of shots. I am SO glad we did. She has dogs! Anyone who knows me, knows I am a sucker for dog and newborn photos. More often than not, our dogs were our first “children” and they deserve to be in the photos too! 🙂
So…..do you think mommy will still give us carrots? 🙂
