nationally recognized child photographer in st. louis

plan on real & plan on fun during your child photography session with me

Child photography sessions are the heart of my business. I’m not into props, I’m into freckles, crooked teeth, and crazy hair.

The love between siblings, the silliness of a newly talking 2 year old, or the look your 6 year old gives you that melts your heart are the moments I capture with my child photography sessions.

All child sessions are incorporated to any family sessions. Child sessions can be completely separate, or include siblings and pets. You can choose from a mini-child session (in the studio), or a full child session (sunset or in the comfort of your home).

in-studio child sessions

Studio child sessions can be booked as; full sessions (1 hr) or mini sessions (20 min). Emily’s studio is all white and is where her signature “clean” look is created.

There is a queen-size bed that is perfect for jumping on and pillow fights among siblings, a bubble machine, and a clean palate to shoot anything we can create that creates joy. Studio sessions are also perfect for baby sessions!

sunset child sessions

Typically, the sunset child sessions are family sessions, but some do book just “child” sunset sessions. Ask Emily about details for these types of sessions. All sunset sessions take place 1 hour prior to sunset.

lifestyle child sessions

Lifestyle sessions are perfect to capture your child in their element.  We plan the session totally around their interests.  Think about jumping on the bed, sidewalk chalk, swimming, playing tea party with a sibling, or doing whatever your child does, right at home.

Capture those moments that only you as parents get to see, in photos.  Lifestyle shoots are timeless. You will look back at the photos and remember your children as they were.  When you kids ask you when they are older, “Mom, what was I like as a child?”, you can show them.
